The BRICS Business Forum kicked off in Beijing on the evening of June 22. Chinese President Xi Jinping and other BRICS leaders attended and addressed the opening ceremony of the Forum via video link. China Datang’s vice President Liu Guangying was invited to attend the Forum.

The Forum was held under the theme of deepening business relations among BRICS countries and jointly creating a bright future for global development. The Beijing Initiative of BRICS Business Community was released during the Forum. Focusing on the topics of "accelerating green transition and promoting global sustainable development" and "strengthening coordination and cooperation and enhancing the resilience of industrial supply chains", Liu Guangying exchanged views with the ministerial officials of BRICS countries, ambassadors of relevant countries and representatives of the business community to build consensus on cooperation.
